I want to wish everyone a safe Memorial Day weekend.  Let's remember the past and present military who have given their lives.  Pray for peace and an end to war.
This is the completed loosen up.  It was fun to try something new.  Maybe I'll be doing something outrageous next.

I have a collection of carousel horses.  Posters, ornaments, wooden carousels, paintings.  This is a horse I painted in the 1980's, when my mom and I took ceramic classes together. You were my best friend, you taught me valuable lessons and allowed me to be who I have become today.  I miss you!

My thoughts and prayers are with the victims in Missouri, we are seeing such courage in those who have lost all their materials things collected over the years.  Those who lost their lives...sadness for those left behind.  It really puts things in perspective of how lucky many of us are.  Live each day andtake the time to tell those you love how much they mean to you.
It was suggested that I loosen up and do some silly faces.  So here is my attemp.  We'll see how it goes.

Strange weather all over the US, even my Christmas catus is in a mixed up cycle.  Here it is in full bloom in May.

"Love the people who treat you right and
pray for the ones who don't.

blue wolf by: Michaela Urbanczyk
I drew this picture because I was thinking of the spirit of animals and how their spirit goes to the cave of spirits where they rest in peace with their passing loved ones and ancestors..

 Happy Mother's Day!
Just got back from a wonderful lunch with Michelle, Michaela.  Michelle's friend Nicole organized an outing to have margaritas and then have pedicures.  Was a very fun afternoon and also very relaxing.

This is another of Christine's pieces that is sold.  I just love the mood it sets.  Kinda how I feel right now.  I'm on my way to get a much needed hair trim.

We are having beautiful weather--very lazy.  New plants are in the pots and I am enjoying the bright blooms.

My finished project.  Mounted on an 8"X10" canvas.  The background is fabric that I printed mod podged onto the canvas.  The edges all around the frame is two to three fabrics cut into strips and mod podged.  The dress has three stones down the front.  The bird and flower I felted and glued in place.  It was fun and I may try it again.
