Decorations are out, I'm officially ready for fall.  Today is really warm--yesterday it was cold and we had liquid sunshine.  What a differenc a day makes.  This is typical fall weather for Santa Cruz, so I am going to enjoy it while it lasts.  Not looking forward to winter, the older I get the colder is seems.  Everyone enjoy your week
.
Thanks everyone for the comments on my fabulous fabric.  The quilt is officially in the beginning stages.  I cut out and put together my first 58 squares.

Love your pumpkin-head! We are finally getting some cooler weather (below 80F) and I hope that it holds! It is difficult to feel like autumn with the air conditioner running!

Your pumpkin-head looks fantastic. In Germany we call it "Vogelscheuche". I hope the winter will not come too soon. I love the summer :). The colors of autumn, but the temperature of the summer ;)

I like your Fall display, very cute. Fall is my favorite. Wow, 58 squares, that is a lot. I can't wait to see what you're doing, that fabric is truly delicious. It's always so fun to start new projects. Happy Fall! :)

I bid on the scarecrow several years ago. It was at the grand kids school carnival. the names of the children are on the legs of the pants. The head is plastic so it can be used year after year. Just stays up until around Dec. 1, then back into the garage until next year.
